This year the Faculty's annual conference on the 5th and 6th of November is going online. There are a limited number of free places to medical students foundation year doctors (FY1-2), core psychiatric trainees (CT1-3), advanced psychiatric trainees (ST4-6) and service users and carers.
A full programme and registration details will be available online in September 2020.
The Faculty is inviting members to submit proposals for a series of 1hr webinars that will form part of the conference.These can be pre-recorded or live and there will be technical support for both options.
Submissions should outline the rationale, webinar objectives and key learning points for attendees. Your proposal should be no more than 250 words. If accepted, up to three speakers plus one chair will receive complimentary registration on the day of the webinar.
The deadline for submissions is further extended to 12th August 2020.
Presentations are welcomed under the following themes:
- Trauma (including Service User and Carer Experiential Trauma, Iatrogenic Trauma to the Service User, and Improving Resilience in Eating Disorder Practitioners)
- Severe And Enduring Eating Disorders
- Barriers To Recovery
- Associated Mental And Physical Health Conditions (eg Diabetes, Inflammatory Bowel Disease)
- Novel Treatments In The Field Of Eating Disorders
