Volunteer with SEDIG.

The Scottish Eating Disorder Interest Group (SEDIG) is the national eating disorder charity in Scotland.

We are a unique group of professionals, carers and sufferers working together to connect and inform people affected by eating disorders.

Our mission is to increase awareness of eating disorders and promote best practice.  In support of this we hold regular meetings and seminars, lobby government and each year run our very successful Carers’ Conference.

New Trustees/Committee Members

With the incidence of eating disorders sadly rising, we are seeking new volunteer committee members to help tackle a growing problem in Scotland today.

In particular, we would welcome applications from people with:                                        - business acumen and senior management experience, who would be able to advise on and support the charity’s strategic plan.                                                            -professional fundraising experience to support us in developing a fundraising strategy.

We are also looking for enthusiastic individuals who may not have professional fundraising experience but who would like to support and volunteer for fundraising activities for the charity.

Our current treasurer is due to step down from the charity in the coming months.  We would, therefore, welcome enquiries from individuals who have financial management experience who would be able to support the charity with:

-financial planning and reporting.
-record keeping.
-compliance with regulatory requirements.
